*cough, cough, eyes roll*
I know, I know, bah humbug! But really, if I were to sum up christmas in one word it would be WASTE (in every way that I can think of, but for the sake of this post I will concentrate on the one that makes me the most crazy... cutting down our beautiful forest). Being the semi-hippie that I am, it makes my stomach turn to see all of those beautiful trees leaving our area thrown in the back of pick-ups, and tied to the top of mini-vans. They're used for a month tops and then thrown into landfill and whatnot... bah, I hate it.
This year we have decided to try and do something about all of those good trees going to waste... our goal is to keep a couple of those trees out of our landfills and put them to good use.
Our vision is to cut the trunk into rounds and make recycled christmas tree coasters out of them. Obviously, we won't be able to do anything until after christmas when we recieve some 'left over' trees, but we'll keep you posted.
Oh, and we will be selling them at CreationInspired.etsy.com if you're interested in purchasing any.

we got bella's first x-mas ornament at the tree farm made out of x-mas tree...
so when do we get to see the creation inspired creations? :) i am considering it, but i am not that creative, actually, i am but don't think i will have the time to make it worth it... let me know how it works for you
when we get the camera we'll be able to post items to the sight... it wouldn't do much good to put stuff on there that you can't even see... haha.
You should, I don't think it matters how many items you have or anything... but I know about time issues. I have them and I mostly stay at home.
