Water Color

There's a first time for everything... this was my first (since childhood) water color.  I don't pretend to know anything about it, and I know it's probably not the most impressive piece ever but it was a bit of a family effort -all of the trees are actually our (dan, the girls, and my) fingerprints- so it feels pretty special.  A gift for my mother for her birthday... it was fun little project.

Oh yes, and any tips on how to water color for real would be lovely :o), I'd love to do another water color project in the future...

HOWED YOU DO THAT!???!! It's stinking BEE-YOU-TEE-FULL!

For real, how big is that? I'm assuming those are not thumb prints . . .

not sure of the exact size... it's smaller than a normal piece of paper, though.... and thank you! Supper easy, and a great gift for family... you should do it with your rascals :o)

what i think is so fantastic with watercolor is you have complete and easy control over the consistency and look of the paint, and it's such a wide variety! this is very sweet and i'm always impressed with your ideas! :) keep toying with consistency and see if you get what you want.
